
Isolated strong storms developed during the late afternoon hours of July 27th, 2009. A few storms briefly showed supercell characteristics. One of these storms produced a 75 mph wind gust at the O'Donnell 1N mesonet station at 6:20 pm CDT. The O'Donnell mesonet station recorded 1.06 inches of rain in 15 minutes with nickel-sized hail reported near the station.
